I have a new favorite game on the Nintendo Switch – Disney’s Dreamlight Valley

Well, that didn’t take long.

I have memories of playing Disney’s Kingdom Hearts on PlayStation for years. It was my favorite game, and the main reason I owned a PlayStation (aside from watching DVDs). I just found my new favorite on the Switch, and surprise, surprise…it is also a Disney game. Disney’s Dreamlight Valley is so enjoyable. There is an actual storyline, and you can run around and DO almost anything for fun in the game as you progress to each new mission.

I’ve always liked games that had a cool storyline and were super interactive. It might have something to do with me liking reading and writing? But who knows?

This game is something special. It is for all ages, I don’t feel the least too old for it as I delve into a world filled with all my favorite childhood Disney Characters. I am only in early stages of the game, but I can tell you right now, if I had to rate it – it would be 5/5 Stars! I love it that much.

Honestly I thought it was going to be a toss up between Hogwart’s Legacy and Disney Dreamlight Valley, however, the two really don’t compare. Hogwart’s graphics are fantastic, but the simplicity and brightness of the colors in the Disney game draw me in right away! (I also died quite quickly in Hogwart’s Legacy, which is a little discouraging!)

I’d like to play this game every night, however, I decided the switch is primarily going to be a weekend thing. I have books I want to read, a life I want to live, etc…that doesn’t let me play as often as I want. Of course, I made the rules and I can change them, but for now, that’s my rule and I am sticking to it!
