Excuse me for being verbose,
but when identifying dimorphic characteristics
in birds of prey, I quickly find myself on
palpitating ground. My patent-leather shoes
can't get a grip on the wobbly surface,
and so perhaps in another life, I will be
reincarnated in such a way that I will
rise as an Eagle, bald head shimmering
white and bearing talons of mercy, alluring
and broken white tail catching in the wind,
a hunter, a woman to be revered, larger,
and stronger, than my male counterpart
as he finds me, I dwarf him my voice growling
deeply as he sings beside me.
